Matt Woll

Key Relationships Consultant
Blue Wave

Matt Woll started working in development with Water4 in 2021 after 20+ years serving as an executive pastor in churches in the greater Seattle, WA area. After his first vision trip to Africa in 2010 after a successful fundraising campaign, and his second with his wife Wendy in 2018, Matt says “… my life’s compass was re-calibrated, and I knew I wanted to be an advocate and an ally in seeing this crisis end in my lifetime.”  After the outcomes of the COVID-19 global pandemic that caused his church to close, he decided to explore opportunities to focus full-time supporting the fight to end global water poverty and joined the team at Water4.

As a Key Relationships Consultant at Water4, he now helps develop resources by caring for donors and stewarding the major financial gifts necessary to fulfill the vision and mission. Having experienced first-hand what can happen when people grow in financial generosity and the direct impact on the developing world, he’s committed both personally and professionally to giving people the same opportunity to actually make the world a better place.

Matt is married to his wife Wendy and they live in Bellevue, Washington with their two incredible kids and two spunky Australian Shepherds. Matt is a semi-professional musician, music producer, and recording engineer who loves learning through audiobooks, podcasts, and personal connections.

Matt's favorite quote is:

“People don’t remember what you say, they remember how you made them feel.”
