Alex has worked in the WASH, Humanitarian Aid, and Education & Adult Learning sectors for more than ten years. He comes to Water4 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he led a COVID-19 Contact Tracing Program. Prior to that, Alex worked for over 5 years with Samaritan’s Purse International Relief with some time teaching environmental science at Abilene Christian University. Alex is grateful to be a part of the Water4 team and to support the flow of knowledge within the programs department to continue to empower staff and the organizational mission.Â
Alex holds a BS in Environmental Science from Abilene Christian University and a MS in Watershed Management from the University of Wyoming. His passion for the WASH sector began in 2009 with a rainwater harvesting project with Mission Lazarus in southern Honduras. Alex lives with his wife Carola, and daughter Lilly. They love family, travel, and exploring God’s creation together outside.
