Manufacturing & Production Assistant

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing and Production Assistant (MPA) is responsible for supporting Water4’s Program Department production and warehousing requirements under the supervision of the Production Manager. The MPA will support in receiving supplies and equipment, ensuring they are checked into inventory and stocked in the appropriate location.

 The MPA will directly build and manufacture the NUMA water system components, drilling and related equipment, and geophysical surveying equipment according to Water4 standards and specifications under timelines and targets set by the Production Manager and Program Department. MPA will also travel to Water4 enterprise locations to provide technical support and training for the production and installation of NUMA Water System Components. 

The MPA will support the packing, shipping, and export of supplies and equipment to Water4 enterprises. As well as supporting in the development and refinement of new product innovations.

Additionally, the MPA will support the daily upkeep of production and warehouse facilities and workspaces, ensuring that the facilities are maintained and presentable at all times.  

Finally, the MPA will support the Development and Strategic Partnership Departments in their fundraising efforts by providing support for the Annual Walk4Water, and other fundraising programs and projects as requested of the Programs Department.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Required: Practical manufacturing experience through tech school, including welding and fabrication. High School Diploma.
  • Preferred: 2+ years experience managing production-related work, including design and fabrication, welding, warehousing, and plumbing and water systems experience. Trade school certification.
