Development & Marketing Intern

Position Summary:

The Development and Marketing Intern position will experience a variety of roles within the Water4 Development and Marketing departments. Intern will report directly to the Fundraising Coordinator, with opportunities to work with all members of the team. This position will allow the opportunities to learn new websites, learn organization skills, experience major event planning, participate in donor tours, and spend time with leaders within Water4 to grow their own leadership skills.

Responsibilities will include:

Responsibility

Walk4Water4:

  • Intern will perform duties as assigned by the Fundraising Coordinator and Director of Corporate and
    Community Partnerships.
  • Intern will assist with Walk4Water4 tasks as assigned until event completion on October 1.
  • Intern will attend Walk4Water4 Event on October 1.

Development:

  • Intern will attend Development Team Meetings, pending class availability.
  • Intern will set up Mission Control for tours
  • Intern will make solicitation/cultivation calls including but not limited to:
    • lapsed donors
    • Walk4Water4 invitation calls
    • Giving Tuesday solicitation calls
    • end of year campaign cultivation calls
  • Intern will assist with fall school fundraising events in Norman and Oklahoma City
  • Intern will conduct prospect research for different donor segments as directed by manager

Other:

  • Intern will attend all staff and network calls as scheduled on Monday mornings, pending class availability.
