Position Summary

The Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships will oversee corporate relationships and community engagement with a primary focus on growing Water4’s signature event: Walk4Water. Key competencies required for this role include but are not limited to volunteer leadership & development, high impact fundraising, large format peer-to-peer fundraising, and event oversight & management. Candidates must have a proven track record for relationship management and strategic fundraising development.

Time Allocation of Responsibilities

% TIME ALLOCATION

Accountable for achieving high-impact sponsorship and peer-to-peer fundraising revenue goals for Walk4Water and Walk4Water Expansion Markets with a focus on new revenue each year. Partner with Sr. Director of Development to develop and implement an annual plan to expand Walk4Water into multiple markets across the country, including budget creation, volunteer/prospect identification, and partnership with Creative Director on fundraising materials

Collaborate to grow high level volunteer and corporate relationships across Development and throughout Water4 to increase support through such revenue lines as sponsorship, workplace giving, retail partnerships, etc. Responsible for the recruitment and cultivation of high-level volunteer leadership committees to be an offshoot of 4ward 2030 committee.

Partner with Sr. Director of Development to build out a strategic growth plan for church outreach and fundraising opportunities. Implement church outreach strategy locally and build relationships nation-wide leveraging volunteers and key relationships to grow Water4’s reach.

15%

Partner with Development staff to move donors through the Water4 organization as appropriate. Teach, train and consult volunteer leaders in designated campaigns. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of revenue-focused fundraising or sales experience
  • Experience managing staff, including remote staff and volunteers
  • Previous experience managing walks/peer-to-peer fundraising events and initiatives
  • Previous experience and success with solicitation of corporate gifts and partnerships of greater than $25,000
  • Previous experience managing corporate fundraising partnerships, including corporate giving, workplace giving, employee engagement, and retail fundraising campaigns

Preferred Skills

  • CRM management experience
  • Budgeting and cost management
