We’re walking to end the water crisis at the inaugural Walk4Water at Wheeler Park in Oklahoma City.
Ditch the formal wear, bring the grandkids, lace up those walking shoes and join us to experience the crisis firsthand. We provide the bucket. You do the rest.
We hope you’ll join us on October 5, but whether you walk or not, you’re still part of the solution to the water crisis.

I was really looking forward to the Water4 Gala. What gives?
Every year we try to top the previous year’s event by doing something new, and for a few years we’ve been wanting to create an event people could use to introduce their families to Water4… so we took a big risk and decided to try something different this year.
Does this mean the Water4 Gala is done?
We get it, we miss the gala too. Don’t worry. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger in every Terminator movie ever made, the Water4 gala will be back.
How can I still experience that special Water4 hopefulness up close?
Join us at Walk4Water on October 5 and be taken closer to the impact of your support than ever before.
Can I still get fancy and hang out with my favorite Water4 people?
For sure. You can make everyone’s day by showing up on October 5 wearing walking shoes with your suit or gown. Or… you can become a Walk4Water sponsor and we’ll invite you to party with us at our sponsor appreciation event on the rooftop of Plenty Mercantile in downtown OKC on October 3.
Do I have to walk to participate?
No way! Show up and walk. Show up and don’t walk. Don’t show up and don’t walk. You can even participate as a virtual walker by creating a fundraising page to raise support to end the water crisis. This also applies to people outside of Oklahoma City… you know who you are.
Will there be food at the event?
You bet! The Taco Nation and Taste of Soul Southern Chicken & Waffles food trucks and our friends from Perk Place Cafe will all be there serving up delicious food and hot coffee for that cool October morning.
