Mighty Big News for Tanzania

Water4 is pumped to announce an exciting new partnership with Mighty Men Drillers and Empowering Lives International (ELI) in Tanzania!

While the formal partnership is new, the relationship began in 2015 when Water4 gave Mighty Men Drillers remote support as they built and adapted manual drilling tools for the specific geological conditions in their region. Shortly after, members of the Mighty Men team drove over 1,200 each way miles to and from Tanzania to Malawi to attend a training hosted by Water4 on manual drilling.

Since then, we’ve provided funding for a small number of water projects along with ongoing technical support and training. The new partnership will include additional training and support for Mighty Men in well-drilling, leadership, disciple-making, financial stewardship, and other aspects of the Water4 system along with the ability to leverage funding for even more water projects together.

Although Mighty Men has grown and evolved since 2015, their desire to provide access to safe and living water in Tanzania has remained constant. Taking their name from King David’s “Mighty Men” in 2 Samuel 23, this team truly embodies what it means to serve faithfully and sacrificially.

Community celebrating well completion.

Water4 has been long-time supporters of Mighty Men Drillers in their work to eradicate the water crisis in northern Tanzania, and we’re excited to take our partnership to the next level.
